Just Got back from seeing "
The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" and I'm going to have to say that I am really disapointed. The sub par acting mostly done by
Mos Def brought the movie down a whole level. The story seemed sluggish and cluttered with humor that I guess only British people think is funny because I think I said "I dont get it" atleast 5 times. I guess I shouldnt be so harsh, some of the "
intelligent humor" made me chuckle. The visual effects seem to range from hopeless to stunning, it makes me wonder how many different designers worked up these digital sequences. On the plus side
Jim Henson's creature shop did an amazing job making some
disgustingly real characters. Leaving the movie it was decided I could have went without wasting my $8 on such tom foolery. I give this movie a crappy 2 out of 5.

Ok pinqel...yeah i admit that maybe awsome isn't the "best" word for it, but having a working knowledge of philosophy really helps when seeing the movie to appreaciate it. I'd give it a 3.5/5
